Hummingbird Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 3, 2026

Hummingbird is built for privacy. Projections run on your device. We do not require an account.

What we collect

Hummingbird does not collect personal data for advertising or analytics. There is no account system and no tracking SDK.

What stays on your device

All of the above stays on your device. It is never sent to us and there is no account to sync it to. You can clear your track record at any time in Settings, and it can auto-clear on a schedule you choose.

Notifications

Notifications are off until you turn them on, and are scheduled entirely on your device from data already stored there. Hummingbird offers: a once-a-day Morning read summarising recent watchlist movement, a once-a-week Weekly recap of your own calls and how resolved ones turned out, and — only with Practice tools on — portfolio movement alerts when a practice holding moves past a threshold. No notification content leaves your device.

Network requests

The app may request public market and economic data from third-party key-less APIs (for example Yahoo Finance, CoinGecko) so it can sketch a path from recent history. Those requests contain the symbol or series needed to fetch data. Hummingbird does not upload your forecasts to our servers — we do not operate a Hummingbird backend for projections.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Apple’s privacy policy applies to payment data. Hummingbird only learns whether Pro is active via StoreKit entitlements.

Children’s privacy

Hummingbird is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
